Many people file their own annual income tax returns and receive a refund. However, keeping up with the most current tax laws is a task that can turn out to be extremely tedious, especially when a seemingly insignificant credit can translate into several hundred dollars worth of your tax refund. At Atlantic Income Tax, our off-season focus is tax law and the changes it may cause. In the first step to meeting your needs, we take the time to evaluate and understand your specific situation by interviewing you in search of new and current credits that you may not be aware that you qualify for.
We are experts in tax return preparation and processing. We promise fast, accurate and trustworthy professional service delivered to each customer.
- ITIN Applications: Do you need to file your income tax return, but do not possess a Social Security Number? You can still file your income tax return if you apply for an ITIN number (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) with us. The ITIN number is intended for Federal tax reporting purposes, and many people still receive a very decent refund using the ITIN number, just ask us how to file for one. Do you support any dependents in Canada or Mexico? Good news. There is a way you can claim such dependents in your tax return, and it will have a positive effect on your refund, just ask us how.
- Notary Public: Need notarization on any documents? No problem: at Atlantic Income Tax we handle every document in the notary spectrum. All we need from you is a valid form of identification along with the document(s) you need notarized, we’ll take care of the rest. Our notary fee is ten dollars per notarized signature.
- Accounting: Are you involved in a business or an income-generating activity and haven’t found the time to formalize it into an official business? Set up an appointment with our accountant for a free analysis of your business. During the consultation, we will classify your business and advise you on proper setup, free of charge. Some of the accounting services include bookkeeping, reconciliation, Sales Tax quarterly filing, incorporation and customer sales as a part of our accounting.
